My car has been sitting at the collision center since November and still is not repaired. The repair has been delayed several times by slow action on the part of the collision center, poor communication, and incorrectly ordered parts. I have been paying out of pocket for a rental car for over a month now. Not happy and still without a car.

I was not given an estimate for most of the services provided and was under the impression the oil change and 25k mile care was free. There were services provided that we were never told about and again did not receive an estimate for anything aside from our rim replacement & alignment. We didn?t even know our tire needed to be replaced along with the rim. Extremely unprofessional & severe lack of communication. We had to call several times for updates and had a hard time reaching our service advisor alex. We were not expecting to pay several hundred dollars for these services and will likely not be bringing our vehicle back or purchasing from this dealership again. Our whole family has always been loyal to Toyota vehicles but this experience was so awful that next time we?re looking for a new vehicle we?ll likely be looking for a different company to support. Extremely shady.

Update: I am glad that the General Manager got involved and fix the problems the way things should. We appreciate the outstanding efforts of the General Manager of this place. He did SAVE THE REPUTATION of AutoNation Toyota South Austin from the destroying hands of Greg Coy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you. We really appreciate the Board of Management taking time to look into our review and solve the problems. At the moment, the General Manager is seriously working with us, and so far, we are happy with the extra efforts from the General Manager. Thank you. For Greg Coy, Tony's manager, as this incident is serious, we would think the Board of Management might want to investigate why Greg was DETERMINED to COVER-UP; by redirecting the conversations, intimidating customers, venting anger, showing aggressiveness to customers when his teams did the wrong things. He even tried to shut me up with a strong tone "I am working here for 31 years". I can't express enough my DISAPPOINTMENT when we approached for help. Greg has absolutely no respect for customers, and he did the opposite of what a manager should do; which is to help customers and company's reputation. If Greg tries to deny all the issues I address up here, I can make sure Greg to will admit it, if that helps your investigation. I suspect the Work Order given by Greg (attached) is also falsified because even the document heading is misspelled. We hope this won't happen again with other customers as it causes trouble to customers and damages the company's reputation. Again, we are glad that all this stopped when the General Manager stepped-in to solve the problems. So, she called Tony and he sent text to my sister that these lights are covered under a national warranty policy. Is this DISHONESTY?. Tony Do told my sister that the parts are on order, but I asked his manager, Greg Coy, and got informed that "nothing was on order" after he checked the systems. Are these CONFLICTING STORIES?. Today, I asked for the original Work Order to clear-up the matters, and they said it had not been scanned and nowhere to be found. I feel things are being COVERRED UP? With all this information, do you feel the same as me? EXTREMELY BAD EXPERIENCE FOR SUCH A BIG PLACE

I recently bought my first Toyota and I am in love with it. The buying process was super easy. I submitted what I was looking for on the Toyota website and immoderately got a call from a woman named Poliana. She said they had what I wanted so I went down the next morning and there it was. When we spoke on the phone or was like we were old friends. Poliana was helping other customers and I didn't have an appointment so Susana was gracious enough to help me. She was very up front, helpful and there was no pressure to buy. There were no unnecessary trips to talk to some annoying manager to haggle over pennies, everything was cut and dried and above board. I would love to go back and would definitely buy from Poliana and Susana if the need arose. Highest marks 5/5.

a week after I bought my car I got an oil change and they said the battery was bad and it was about 3 1/2 years old so i brought it back to get it tested and replaced if needed and they supposedly recharged it but an hour later the battery died so I called them back and the lady was extremely rude and told me to get it towed back which was 20 miles from where I was so I said I'm not going to pay for it to get towed because it would cost as much as just buying a new battery and she just hang up then i called 5 more times and no one would answer so now I have to get a new battery 2 weeks after buying a "certified" used car

This was at the top of the services Iāve ever experienced for my < 2 year old car at a Toyota dealership. The people were very nice and clear in communicating what to do and when to go about doing it. It also only took an hour to complete my regular maintenance on a weekday afternoon. Then when I was paying and I asked questions about my service plan, the service man was very nice in explaining the details for future visits. I originally bought my car in San Antonio, but Iāve been having horrible experiences at the universal Toyota. Iām definitely going to get my car serviced in Austin from now on.

I will start by praising AutoNation South Toyota's service advisor, Art Gomez. Art greeted me in a professional and courteous way at drop off and made sure to get my vehicle in and out of service as quickly as possible while I waited on site. Art actually returned my vehicle back to me in less time than he estimated, beating his estimate by 30 minutes. This meant a lot to me. Art has nothing to do with my 2 star rating. I appreciate the 2year complimentary service - but we all know that first service after 2 year or 25 K miles is a big one, that the customer must pay for. Changing fluids, air filters, brakes, etc. that the manufacturer recommends - it'll be hundreds of dollars. I digress. The two star rating comes from the following: First, there is not enough seating in the customer waiting lounge. Next, nothing is provided except coffee. How about providing some bottled water and donuts or granola bars? There are instructions on how to use the coffee maker posted on the wall; however, after two tries, I still couldn't make a cup of coffee. I suggest using a simpler device, like K Cup coffee makers. The chairs are not comfortable and there is not enough table/chair options for customers to use portable computers. Why don't you run the customer's vehicle through a car wash? It's a small gesture, but goes a long way toward providing excellent customer service. These are small things (nit-picky) but when I owned a Honda, these small things were standard within the Honda service department.

The completion time for basic services is improving. When we first started going to this facility, it took 4+ hours for an oil change and tire rotation. If we had not pre-purchased the oil changes when we bought the car, we definitely would have started taking it somewhere else. However, over the last 2 years, the wait time has been steadily improving and now takes about an hour.

This dealership consistently drops the ball in regards to communicating to their customers what is going on. I arrived for a routine oil change that was prepaid with the Toyota Care package. After 3 hours, they attempted to sell me over $500 of ārecommended maintenanceā for a 2016 Corolla that only has 50k miles. After declining, the salesperson asked me to to swipe my card without explaining what the breakdown of costs were. They tried to charge me over $160 for the oil change (should be included) and a car inspection. Thankfully I questioned the charge and they only ended up charging me for the $18 inspection. This is not the first awful experience Iāve had at this dealership. I canāt wait to pay this car off and never go here again. This dealership is the prime example why people do not trust mechanics.

I had a stellar experience with AutoNation Toyota South Austin! Emily Mueller was a fantastic person to work with and was super helpful. I started working with her months before I actually needed to use her services and she was always polite and friendly. I reached back out when I was ready to sell my car and she remembered my info and was ready to help. I had a gift transfer issue with my title and we had to wait for the government to send it back, and they got as close to their original offer as possible. This was a bit of a mixed bag of experience. I looked up the vehicle online and called to make sure it was still in inventory. I then had to make and appointment. I then received two calls back to verify my appointment. I arrived, took a look at the Jeep and then took it for a test drive. Since this was a fixed price dealership, there is no price negotiation. I then put a deposit on the vehicle. One would think this would be a very fast process, well, it isn't. I was at the dealership for about 2 hours, including the over 20 min wait to see the "finance" guy. I came back later in the week to pick up the Jeep and had been told it was ready. (As part of the sales agreement, I had the dealership fix one of the visors). As I was about to go make payment, the salesperson came back and told me the visor hadn't been repaired yet but the part was ordered and would be in soon. I was very upset. I had driven an hour to get to the dealership already, now I am being told that I would have to come back and wait for a visor to be repaired (i.e. replaced). I was more upset about being lied to in regard to the Jeep being ready. I left without taking possession of the Jeep. I started to look for another Jeep, but was contacted by the dealership to let me know the visor had been repaired. Along the way, I did drive another Jeep but it wasn't a good fit for what I wanted. I was greeted upon my arrival and was asked again to wait for a finance person. I reviewed the paperwork, took the Jeep on another test drive, and then signed a personal check for the balance. The dealership ran a credit check on me to make sure the check was good. A day or so later, I noticed a very small chip and crack in the windshield. I reached out to the dealership and they referred me to a local (to them) glass repair shop that took a look at it. While the shop could not effect a repair, the dealership at least tried. in summary, the dealership/salesperson made a misstep but apologized and tried to make good, although an offer to pay for gas or time wasn't in the cards.

Avoid this dealership! I bought a Nissan Murano. I was told that it goes through an extensive check to make sure it's in good condition. I've had to take it in 3 times for repairs in just the 1st 2 months. The last repair I was told the warranty expired by a day and I will have to pay over $2000 for repair. What a lemon! In addition, the sales representative has failed to respond to numerous messages. Beware of this dealership!

Scheduled online with ease. Checked in for my 8:45 appointment for 10,000 mile services, and received a text update from the service advisor, Erik.. I was provided a time estimate of about an hour and a half when I arrived, however, I received a text right around the one hour mark (57 mins) informing me that the service was complete. The text update also included where I could find him to collect my key, receipt, and a link to view a photo of the filter which needed attention. I'm not sure when this text update feature was added, but I appreciated the communication. Definitely the fastest service I have received, including previous visits to this location over the past 9 or so years. Hopefully, the next service appointment goes just as smoothly.

Quick service and never really try to upsell you too hard unless itās something necessary and you can always work it out with them if you need to postpone or spread out the service over a few weeks or months. Lobby is big and clean and lots of tables and places to post up. I always bring my laptop. Wifi is good and quick. They have a free coffee machine and also vending machines for other treats. Bathrooms are very clean. I used to go to the one on 183 but never again. Even though itās further away, I make the drive just to go to Autonation. Eric was awesome and he was quick and efficient. My wife called me saying there was something leaking from under the car. I got it and took it to AutoNation The down side is that I was not able to drop off the car as they do not seem to be prepared for unscheduled dropoffs. I went home and scheduled it for 2 days later. The up side is that I scheduled with Art Gomez who had overseen all of our work for at least last 10 years. He did an excellent job as always, getting the rack changed and leak fixed. I did not get a quote as Art may have forgotten and I did not ask for one. I like that they even washed the car and provided a day's credit for the rental car we had to get extended.

Iām uncertain on the sales side, but on the service side, this is the absolute worst Toyota service department Iāve seen. First off, there is no point in making an appointment, because they wonāt touch your car for 3-4 hours after your appointment. This applies to simple quarterly maintenance to 100k maintenance. Additionally, they donāt update you on your car or timeline, so itās safe to assume if you come in at 9 am then your car might get looked at by 2 pm. Lastly, there staff are incredibly impolite and appear to absolutely dread working there. Which I could accept if they were at least somewhat polite, considerate, or respectful. So if you donāt take my advice with this review, prepare to be talked down to, condescended, and wait a highly unreasonable amount of time for mediocre auto service at best.

Very very slow. standard service (oil change, tire rotation) took 4 hours even with a reserved time. You schedule your appointment and it takes more than 2 hours before they even look at it. No shuttle, no service car.

Called on Tuesday for an appointment on Friday to replace a tire from a blowout and get an oil change. We show up and check in, wait for over two hours, then are told that they don't have any tires for us in stock, AND they forgot we had requested an oil change. A complete waste of two and a half hours. UPDATE: I have called the number in the response and left a message. I have not heard anything back from the GM.

My experience wasn't the best. I bought my car there and thought I would get the best treatment there. I scheduled my 5000 mile service. I showed up 5 minutes early. Receiving wasn't fast but they were fine. From the the time I left my car it was over 2 hours of waiting. I could see they had a 3+ car deep line to every service bay. I don't understand why I scheduled an appointment just to have to wait because of Toyota's time management skills. After waiting forever and texting my tech with no response, I finally I tracked him down to ask him for an update. He was in his office, my keys were the only ones on his desk. He suddenly switched to my account and within 30 seconds I was finished. I have no clue how long my truck had been finished. Similarly my wife just did her service at Cedar park Toyota and got her car washed as part of a normal service, so I was surprised when I picked mine up and it wasn't. She also said it took only 45 minutes, which is more standard for a simple first time maintenance.

AutoNation Toyota Service Department is terrible, will charge you even if you have the Toyota warranty, will not respond to calls or emails, lie and are flat out unprofessional. On Nov 11, 2022 my wife brought her RAV4 that was under warranty for an oil change and tire rotation. The Service advisor Jared Jones failed to validate that the vehicle had a warranty and insisted that payment was required. After being forced to pay in order to have the key fob back, we contacted Toyota and were advised that our maintenance should have been at no charge. After being informed by Toyota that we should not have been charged, we attempted to contact AutoNation Toyota and were advised that we would have to speak to Jared Jones and no one else. After weeks of calling and not hearing back from Jared, we finally went back to AutoNation Toyota on Dec 20, 2022. Jared advised us that only authorized personnel could process a refund. Jared then proceeded to email who I assume were members of leadership at AutoNation Toyota Jason Lumpan, Keith Hennessey, and Michael Hadley, as well as copied us on it. Michael responded by asking what the "tac auth number" was and that was the last heard from AutoNation Toyota about the status of a refund. Annoyed about not hearing anything or getting results for nearly two month, another call was made today to the Toyota Warranty Department. They informed me the Autonation Toyota process a warranty claim and were paid out on Nov 23, 2022. This means that even though AutoNation Toyota knew there was a warranty, they still charged anyway effectively stealing money. Since there has been no response from Jared Jones, Keith Hennessey, Jason Lumpan, or Michael Hadley, I have been left with no choice but to bring this thievery and poor professionalism to Google Reviews in an attempt to get a response. Please respond to myself or my wife Mallory as soon as possible. We even have the Tac Auth Number from Toyota Warrenty.

Bought a truck from AutoNation South Austin in October. There was issues with the truck that I was told would be fixed before I picked it up. These issues were not fixed. A week after having the truck I am told a final inspection was not done on my truck. I told them when they picked it up about the issues and how they weren't fixed. They picked up my truck with a full tank of gas, drove it to Austin and back to me empty tank. I called for weeks to try to get this fixed and I am told my sales person is no longer there so that delays this even longer. After weeks of talking to the sales manager and him telling me this will get fixed I am now almost 3 months with this truck and they have yet to fix these issues. The sales manager tells me everyday he will call me back and never does. I have wasted so much of my own time calling and dealing with this company for nothing to be done. Buying a warranty with them is a waste of money. Sales and management have a HUGE lack of communication and no effort to fix issues that should have been fixed before a vehicle is sold to someone. Wouldn't waste my time with this company again. Typical used car dealership.

I went to Toyota South Austin because they had five cars I wanted to look at. When we got there only one was available to look at. We were walking out to look at it when a 2015 CRV caught my eye. It had been traded in the day before. Ended up being in my price range. Even had some features that I had been wanting. It felt meant to be. I am now the happy new owner of a 2015 CRV. The staff was very nice and helpful. I was also impressed with their shops detailing abilities. The car looks almost brand new. A huge, positive, difference from my last car buying experience.

Iāll preface this review by saying I would have given them five stars if not for the post-sale experience. The car testing and buying experience was great; absolutely no complaints on that front. However, after we purchased the vehicle, the internal policies of the dealership and how the salespeople get paid became our problem. This AutoNation requires its salespeople to retrieve several pieces of information to complete the sale on their end to get paid, including a copy of the customerās NEW car insurance policy for the purchased vehicle. AutoNation does not accept a copy of a customerās existing insurance policy for a different car, despite Texas permitting a 20-day grace period where the existing rpolicy insures both the existing car and the new car purchased at AutoNation. So because of this internal sales policy my wife and I dealt with a steady stream of phone calls and texts over four days demanding to receive a copy of a new insurance policy. And it wasnāt like we werenāt trying to accommodate the needs of the salesperson but with the holidays and the lack of motivation by the insurer (because they know itās already insured), it became our problem. After spending a half hour on hold and another 45 minutes setting up the new policy in real-time, I was able to get the new insurance policy started and the salesperson paid. I hope AutoNation enjoyed my business because we wonāt be back. I also hope the salesperson understands two things: 1) donāt make your problem the customerās problem and 2) there are better places to work.

Price - 4 stars assuming you have a discount Wait time -2 stars (usually 4-8 hour wait depending on the services you are having done) Quality of work -3.5 stars (usually no issues but I have had a technician forget to reconnect a few hoses in my engine bay after installing spark plugs which caused my check engine light to come on. Thatās not acceptable) I also have had a technician get oil all over the drivers seat because he clearly had it on him and didnāt think to have someone else return the truck that wasnāt dirty.

The last two service appointments I waited over 20 minutes to be checked in. Other cars arrived after me and were checked in before me. Not sure why you advertise a car wash is done as I canāt remember ever having my car washed in past two years. I did appreciate the text when my car was done. Actually took only 30 minutes for oil change so I was out of there within an hour. The service check in people donāt seem happy either.

I told Carl I had an E vap leak. He said it could have something to do with the AC. They were not able to find anything after a diagnostic that cost me $150. When I asked about the A/C because he brought it up he gaslit me into saying that it was not the issue even though he was the one that brought it up initially. I had to come back during my lunch break and have a friend drive me back up there because the oil change was expected to take 2 hours before it would be fixed. I received pushback from Carl about getting an oil change despite my car saying "Maintenance Required Visit Dealer". Very time consuming, very costly and extremely frustrating.

I have visited AutoNation a few times now for normal repairs on my 2019 car. I usually receive coupons in my email and I even got one oil change for free! Their staff are friendly and professional and they always get my car in and out in a timely manner (even during busy times). Of course they give recommendations of things to fix, but never push me into doing more than I am ready to. Overall, I am pleased with AutoNation and I recommend them!

I had a SCHEDULED appointment for routine maintenance that ended up only being rotating the tires. I was told it would take 1.5 hours. They kept me sitting in their unpleasant and overcrowded waiting room for FOUR HOURS. On top of that, the drink & snack machines in the waiting area are way overpriced- not nice for customers you hold captive for so long.

Epi Gonzalez was my service rep., he was hard to communicate with and lacked urgency on any matter. I would call the service manager and ask him to have Epi call me routinely. I was given a copy of my receipt but no warranty information was provided. It states warranty information is on the back of the invoice but as I mentioned, I only have a xerox copy so the back is a blank piece of paper. I received my car back without it being washed/wiped down but I guess those perks are gone.

The salesmen were professional and attentive. They did not play the games that salespeople have payed at three of the other five Toyota dealerships that I have visited. However, I discovered the TPMS was dis functional when I drove it home. I called Ed, a sales person, on the way home. He said to drive the truck some and it might start working. On Saturday, I had made an appointment with service to repair the system. I had to wait 6 hours ar the dealership to get the system repaired. This was inconvenient. I was told that the floor matt that I ordered with the car would be mailed. I have not received them. Angel, the sals person, continued to help me with the technology after the car was purchased. The sales experience was better than that of three of the other five Toyota dealers that I have visited. I have owned six Toyotas, purchased at five different dealerships.

I get my regular service here and it was time to get an oil change. I showed them an email that was for black friday $29.99 full synthetic oil change and they honored this email even though they said they would lose money on it. I also rotated my tires. It took them 30 minutes, cost $67 total, on a Wednesday at 12:30pm.

I honestly can't say enough good things about the staff and the positive experience I had at AutoNation Toyota South Austin. Anyone that has shopped for a new vehicle in the last couple of years knows how extremely challenging it has been. That being said, I shopped around all over Austin and the surrounding areas-even went as far as Boerne, TX. Albeit I met some pretty nice salespeople, none of them could compare to Danny Tercero at AutoNation South. Not only is he down to earth and forthright, he is just a really friendly, outgoing guy. Coincidentally, he was one of the first people I spoke with that day when I began my search. I had a feeling he would be the one to finally seal the deal. Danny was concerned for me, my wants and needs in a vehicle. He took the time and energy to speak in depth about my queries (and I have had quite a few!) He presented different vehicles along the way, just in case, though he kept me updated on my place in line for the one particular car I wanted. When my RAV4 Hybrid came in he took the time to walk me through all the various functions and explain all the different features (when he was clearly busy with many other things pressing him:)) He was very knowledgeable and was even able to obtain the color I wanted originally as well! Tory made the financing aspect of the purchase a breeze. This is by far one of my least favorite aspects of buying a car, but she made it actually fun. The rest of the staff there was personable and helpful too. They like to have a good time, and I love to see that! The dealership property is not too fancy, but that's just fine. The ones that are were nearly ten grand over MSRP. AutoNation Toyota of South Austin is right on. I don't see a need to shop anywhere else!

What a mess. I bought a new Rav4 from here this summer. The dealership did not include wheel-lock key with my car, which I figured out when I took my car somewhere local to get serviced. My sales advisor told me to look in two places by email. Not there. Then he didnāt respond to my next 4-5 emails over the next 2 weeks. Then I called and was told someone would call me back. No call back. I called again and was told Iād need to come into the dealership, which is a very long drive for me to get this resolved. I drove in(hour drive), and was told theyād put on temporary locking nuts of a different color and Iād have to drive back in to get the right ones. Iām beyond pissed. This is a three hour disruption for me. And I was specifically told Iād have to come in and wait about an hour to get this resolved. If they didnāt have any black ones in stock why would I b told to drive in?! I then reached out to a friend who also bought from this dealership and he also did not receive the keys.

These guys are amazing - shout out to Stephan, I called out of the blue for a capstone tundra and within an hour he had my deposit and my truck was reserved. Granted we have to wait these days, but we txted back and forth numerous times over the next month and 1/2. Hit so familiar, we talked on other matters and really made a connection which enhanced the buying experience. When the big day arrived, I got the call and was on the road the next day. When I got to the dealership, he had the truck in the back, and brought it up. We took it to a celebrity lunch, then back to the store and made the deal. The finance guys actually changed the loan to meet my needs by finding the perfect match. It was a long day, but the experience was awesome and I will be going back when it is time. Yāall beat the hell out of the San Antonio guys!!

I will NEVER recommend this dealership to another person after the experience Iāve had in my recent purchase of a vehicle. It started with an extremely disrespectful sales rep and manager who demeaned me when I told them I could not afford to put $50 down on a car which was why I needed a car loan. While the sales rep made up for that by putting the $50 down himself, he then proceeded to sell me a defective vehicle that I requested was fixed prior to the sale. When he said his manager was refusing to fix it, he offered me a $300 check in exchange for my dissatisfaction and went back on his word when the check engine light came on in the car two hours after leaving the lot with it. I immediately took the vehicle back and asked them to fix the mechanical issue, they held my car for a week, and returned it to me with the check engine light still on and the $2000 fix incomplete effectively voiding their five day return policy. Two days after driving around with the defective vehicle, it broke down and is now in the shop at a trustworthy mechanic as Autonation/Toyotaās mechanics cannot be trusted. When I informed my bank of the faulty sale of a $14000 vehicle which I will now be paying on for five years plus the thousands of dollars of maintenance that need to be done, they told me to ask for two simple reports from the sales rep which still have yet to be provided to me as Iām being given the runaround by the dealership. This is by far the most slimy, disrespectful, inconsiderate, untrustworthy dealership I have ever had to work with in the sale/purchase of a vehicle. They should be ashamed and embarrassed for doing this to another human being at all, but especially for doing this to a single mother just trying to get my daughter to and from school in a safe/reliable vehicle and myself to work on a daily basis.

My experience with AutoNation was a positive one. I purchased a 2022 Toyota Tacoma, which is exactly what I wanted from the start. They had one Tacoma on the lot, so I didnāt have the chance to sleep on the offer like I wished I could and had to act relatively quickly. My sales rep, Amiel, was pretty good. Two reasons I deducted a star are: 1) Laura told me during the signing of my documents that when I picked up the truck the following morning, I would be shown all the bells and whistles that the truck had to offer. Unfortunately, this never happened. Since I had an older car (2008), I have never had any of the newest technologies vehicles now have, so it has taken me a lot of time and research to figure out what all my truck offers. Thankful for YouTube! It was also upsetting to learn that my truck did not come with the lane departure feature, which I find really helpful in modern vehicles, and I expressed that I wanted it. My truck has everything except this, and to be honest, if I had known that, I do not think I would have purchased this particular truck and would have waited. 2) oddly enough, my truck did not come with floor mats, and I was left to figure out what I needed to get the mats explicitly made for my truck. You would think that after spending over $30k for a vehicle, floor mats of all things would be included, butā¦..you would be wrong. The day I drove the truck off the lot, I contacted the Parts Department of AutoNation (a separate building and entity). However, I hit a brick wall after the next and eventually gave up (I left a negative review for them). I finally figured out on my own what I needed to do and ordered them online, and had them shipped to me. When I texted my sales rep about the problems I was having with Parts Department, he stated, āā¦.actually, would have to come into the parts department to order or call. They sometimes put you on hold when theyāre busy. I am not at work today, but I can find out for you tomorrow when Iām backā Unfortunately, I never heard from him again, which was unfortunate. I now have my $200 floor mats, though. Those are my only two complaints. Overall, my purchase went very well. The truck was detailed very nice and the gas tank was filled all the way. The finance manager, Darren, was helpful, and I appreciate the offer they managed to get me and the advice regarding how to increase my credit score for the future. Laura did a good job explaining GAP coverage, etc. Thanks, AutoNation!

They had one Tacoma on the lot, so I didnāt have the chance to sleep on the offer like I wished I could and had to act relatively quickly. My sales rep, Amiel, was pretty good. Two reasons I deducted a star are: 1) Laura told me during the signing of my documents that when I picked up the truck the following morning, I would be shown all the bells and whistles that the truck had to offer. Unfortunately, this never happened. Since I had an older car (2008), I have never had any of the newest technologies vehicles now have, so it has taken me a lot of time and research to figure out what all my truck offers. Thankful for YouTube! It was also upsetting to learn that my truck did not come with the lane departure feature, which I find really helpful in modern vehicles, and I expressed that I wanted it. My truck has everything except this, and to be honest, if I had known that, I do not think I would have purchased this particular truck and would have waited. 2) oddly enough, my truck did not come with floor mats, and I was left to figure out what I needed to get the mats explicitly made for my truck. You would think that after spending over $30k for a vehicle, floor mats of all things would be included, butā¦..you would be wrong. The day I drove the truck off the lot, I contacted the Parts Department of AutoNation (a separate building and entity). However, I hit a brick wall after the next and eventually gave up (I left a negative review for them). I finally figured out on my own what I needed to do and ordered them online, and had them shipped to me. When I texted my sales rep about the problems I was having with Parts Department, he stated, āā¦.actually, would have to come into the parts department to order or call. They sometimes put you on hold when theyāre busy. I am not at work today, but I can find out for you tomorrow when Iām backā Unfortunately, I never heard from him again, which was unfortunate. I now have my $200 floor mats, though. Those are my only two complaints. Overall, my purchase went very well. The truck was detailed very nice and the gas tank was filled all the way. The finance manager, Darren, was helpful, and I appreciate the offer they managed to get me and the advice regarding how to increase my credit score for the future. Laura did a good job explaining GAP coverage, etc. Thanks, AutoNation!

My experience of buying my first car at Autonation South Austin was phenomenal!! Susana is very helpful professional who truly understand my needs and was able to address all of my concerns from features of the car to financial aspect. She is very HUMBLE and HONEST. Normally, I don't trust sales person but definitely would go back to buy another vehicle from Susana. As of today wait time of getting Toyota RAV 4 is atleast 6-8 weeks but I am able to get my RAV 4 within a week just because of her customer oriented attitude. She also recommended me the best finance guy Ali, who help me to get the best finance deal. Absolutely horrible service. Eric never updated me about my car and when it would be done. I dropped it off at 11am Saturday morning. I had to call at 355 because no one updated me all day and they closed at 4. Eric told me that it was ready they just hadnāt given him paperwork or keys yet. I told him I didnāt want to Uber there if he didnāt even have my keys On Monday I called and they were still working on my CarPlay. So Eric lied about my car being ready. I asked the manager if I could pick the car up at 730 since I donāt get off work till 715. He said the ālateā manager would be there to give me my car. Well he was not there at 730 when I arrived. Thank god there was a nice service employee still there who called the manager, found my keys and gave me my car. I will never bring my car to be serviced here ever again. The managers and Eric were incompetent. I wish I got the wonderful manās name who helped me retrieve my car but I didnāt. CarPlay still does not work

My experience purchasing a used vehicle with Autonation Toyota South Austin has been so frustrating and disappointing. I looked at a used car that they had received two days before and had not completed an inspection or cleaned it. I test drove it and was told āsomeoneā wanted to test drive it right after I came back, so I had to decide right away. That is where it all went wrong. I had a pre-approved loan and e-check from my bank so it should have gone smoothly. They said they couldnāt take it and that I would need to go to my bank to get the loan check and if someone came in while I was gone to get the check and wanted to buy it, they could not hold the car for me. The sales guy tried to get me to apply for one of their loans and they may be able to get the interest rate close to what I had with my bank. After phoning a friend, he suggested a PO. Eventually we were going to go the PO route. All the while the sales guy kept telling me that Iāll still need to go get a check from the bank. Once I got to finance after waiting over an hour, the finance guy said that they take e-checks and it was basically a cash sale. I completed and signed all the paperwork. All this while they keep promising that Iād get the car in 48 hours with the car inspected, detailed and the paint scratches fixed on the vehicle. This was not the case. After calling them past the 48 hours, they still had not gotten it fully inspected and they were trying to rush the detailing, which meant they would rush and possibly not get the stains out of the upholstery on the front seats. They didnāt even mention fixing the paint at all until I mentioned it. It took another three days for it to be ready which put at a week since I purchased it. Two days before I picked it up, I informed that the loan funds had not been transferred. It was due to them not completing things on their end that it didnāt transfer. I had to get my loan officer involved because the link that I provided to them didnāt work anymore since I had already sent them the email to transfer the funds. When I finally did pick up the vehicle, they did fix the paint scratches but failed to fix any of the chipped paint on the hood and didnāt even fix the chipped paint on the side of the vehicle that the scratches were repaired. Even though, the stains on the seats were lighter, they were still there. I also only received one key and now have to pay $160 for another key if I want to have an additional one. They did agree to fix the chipped paint and reimburse me on getting the car detailed again, but scheduling it has been a challenge because the paint technician was out on vacation then I had some family emergencies and illnesses. I have contacted the sales guy twice over the last couple of weeks since the paint technician has been back and the sales guy has not responded. Sorry for the long drawn-out review, but this has been a long drawn-out experience that hasn't been resolved yet since I bought the car a month ago. I would not recommend buying from Autonation.

I bought the car for my wife, we upgraded because we have a newborn, and she couldn't drive her small sedan anymore. Baby car seat, stroller, and all the new tools for a family to carry around, everything fits great. Family is the most important for us and she is very happy, we got an awesome SUV from TAN. *The worst service I've ever received anywhere.* I was physically there on Saturday. They couldn't get me in on Saturday which is totally understandable as a walk in. So we schedule for Monday, with a man named JUSTIN THOMPSON, with the stipulation that if the part wouldn't get there until Wednesday I could reschedule for the same time on Wednesday. So I started calling on Saturday, exactly 45 minutes after I was physically in office and had made the appointment. I called 4 times and left 2 messages to reschedule for Wednesday, same time, as discussed. On Sunday I called 2 times and left 1 message. On Monday I called 2 times and left 2 messages. After finally speaking with someone at a front desk position, I discovered that he had cancelled my appointment on Monday with no reschedule, and had not contacted me back at all. They are now fully booked on Wednesday and I have no appointment. I woidn never *EVER* use this service through this branch ever again. This is by far the worst customer service I've ever experienced in terms of lying to the client.

After deciding to purchase a 2018 Honda Civic , the sales rep, Melissa Davis, informed me that the car had not be subjected to the 140 point inspection required by AutoNation before sale. The inspection revealed a significant need for service to the car's front end; this took over a week due to delays in parts delivery and the need to outsource some of the repairs to local shops. all this completed with full professionalism and almost daily communication with me. I went in for a oil change that they said would take 2-3 hours and I went multiple times after 3 hours to see when my car will be done. After over 4 hours they were barely taking my car to get the oil change. Itās ridiculous to wait 5 hours for oil change, who knows how much longer it would taken if I didnāt keep asking. Marc Diaz and Ed Fernandez did an excellent job walking me through the process of buying my new Hybrid RAV4. Much as car shopping can be an emotional process they did a great job of getting what I wanted at a fair price. I walked in the dealership on a Friday and told Marc & Ed what I want. The Hybrid RAV4 was on a 2-4+ month wait list. However with some luck Marc gave me a call on Saturday (the next day) and said they had a 2022 Hybrid RAV4 available that day. I was super excited to buy it and officially bought my Hybrid RAV4 right before Midnight! Once the Hybrid RAV4 was sold to me, Ed got all the car wash, gas, and temporary plates ready, while Marc helped setup/explain all the features in the Hybrid RAV4 to me. It was also super nice Ed stayed late to process everything. For the vehicle payment paperwork and warranties discussion, Isaias Fuentes did a great job creating the custom warranty package I wanted that was close to the price I was willing to pay for so I save money down the road on maintenance. I recommend if youāre going to buy a Toyota, go see Marc & Ed. Besides there great customer service, they know the āinsā on what vehicle is coming-in before itās released to the public, especially in this scarce vehicle market itās good to know people (winners/the plugs) like that!

I am not generally one to write poor reviews but I had a morning appointment for an oil change and to have a patch put on a tire. When I scheduled I made these details clear and I arrived on time. It took OVER 4 HOURS to complete this. The tire patch was clearly rushed seeing that there were black tire marks on the side of my white car and the spare tire was not even put away completely. I will now have to spend an additional hour buffing these out myself. The car was also not washed at all despite me being told it would be. I assume this is because I was asking about my vehicle status at the 3 hour mark (where I was told Iād have my car in 20 minutes which was clearly not true). I have been to this location before and the service was fine. I anticipated a long(ish) wait but 4 hours for this service (and not even a complete job) is ridiculous. The service I received from Mr. Rodriguez was very disappointing. I was being blown off and not being kept updated at all. I also noticed that I was not the only one waiting at his desk for an update. Very very disappointed in this service.

When I complained to Dominic about my waiting time, he pointed me to another guy in his office and said that this guy waited for more than 6 hours (implicitly, you should not complain by waiting for just 3.5 hours and you are still far from my record). Interestingly, he is the advisor for both of us, and he does not treat it as a shame but some sort of pride. I am not sure whether this is common for AutoNation and whether every advisor is so proud of keeping their customers waiting long even with an appointment. If it is the case, then I would "recommend" everyone to try to kill their boring day with free AC. š¤£

Hago cita para unos dĆas despuĆ©s y recibo llamada, desafortunadamente ya pasaron 6 dĆas y es daƱo cosmĆ©tico no se puede arreglar. Seremos flexibles y te haremos un descuento. (TodavĆa no hago el primer pago y ya tengo que pagar arreglos? Wow!!) DespuĆ©s de una charla āme hicieron el favor de arreglarlaā pero tuve que pagar una āpequeƱa sumaā. Problema arreglado dirĆas tĆŗ. Para mi suerte, al otro carro se le prendió la luz de cambio de aceite. Obtengo la cita mĆ”s próxima (13 dĆas despuĆ©s de comprar el auto). Llego a dejar el carro y menciono que trae un ruido en la llanta, me dicen que si lo puedo dejar. Al siguiente dĆa recibo una llamada, el balero anda mal y la transmisión trae un ruido. (A la!!!!) ĀæY lo pueden arreglar con las garantĆas que le agregue?. Tratamos pero tiene garantĆa de fĆ”brica y tiene que llevarlo a la compaƱĆa (marca del carro). Voy con gerente y menciono el problema una vez mĆ”s parece que fue mi culpa esto porque debo revisar carros (claro cómo debo de ser mecĆ”nico). Ellos revisan los carros bien y cuando venden todo estĆ” bien, venden 600 al dĆa y pues uno puede salir mal. (Ā”QuĆ© suerte la mĆa! los dos traĆan detalles, debĆ comprar boletos de loterĆa ese dĆa). Hoy hace 15 dĆas de mi compra, agarre un carro hace dos dĆas y el otro estĆ” en el taller (marca del carro). We had a Yaris that unfortunately met a loose 18-wheeler tire, and the tire definitely won. With substantial damage, we decided to sell the car as-is to AutoNation Toyota South Austin, rather than have the car repaired. Auto Nation's service department has been very good. I had my gas tank replaced under warranty. I was kept informed of the repair's progress and they had a welk equipped waiting room with TVs, snacks, and tables and chairs so I could work on my computer while I waited. Autonation Toyota did a great job with a couple of recalls (airbag and sliding door) on my 2013 Sienna mini-van. I called on Friday and got booked for a Monday morning appointment. Dropped it off and it was all ready in about 3 hours. Easy-peasy. I asked for a quote for a full wheel alignment while it was in, but their price was considerably higher than anywhere else I checked, so I declined. But for the recall repairs, they were aces. Courteous and helpful folks who didn't try to pressure me into getting anything extra.

Upon arrival at the appointed time I had to wait in my car for about 10 minutes before anyone asked if I had an appointment. Then I waited about another 10 minutes before the service advisor came to begin the process. In the meantime I observed personnel who move the incoming vehicles sitting around in a very relaxed manner. Granted, it was later in the day (3:30 pm) and if they had started very early in the morning they would definitely be tired. Yet it did not make a good presentation for customers waiting and waiting. Isn?t there a comfortable place for them to wait until they are called to do their task? The service seemed to progress appropriately and I believe that the information presented to me at its conclusion was helpful.

I did not ask the price as I thought it would be $50 as I was said at the time of purchase. I was not given any quotes and when I was called to get the car I was changed $439 for oil change , wiper and the Key. After 90 thousand miles, I'm so glad I purchased the maintenance plan for my Camry. Every couple/few months, I just make an appointment or swing by and get high quality service from the Toyota experts. It's given me tremendous peace of mind. Sometimes it takes a while, but I like the spacious waiting room and I bring my laptop so I can get some work done while I wait. Overall, the service staff has been super chill and easy to work with and the technicians have been great - much better than Charles Maund Toyota where I had a very negative experience with pushy, rude service staff. I recently took my Hybrid Camry in at the 90k mark for my last service covered under the maintenance package. The technician noticed a steering problem that I had been ignoring and investigated it. They said it would be $89 for the diagnostic, but depending on what it was, they could look into it as a warranty claim or apply the diagnostic fee towards the repairs if I had to pay out-of-pocket for them. Turns out it was all covered by the warranty - thank God for the extended warranty coverage! I've been very satisfied with the service and quality of work. My favorite Service Advisor there has been Tony Sabatino, he's been the most friendly, helpful and easy-going rep I've ever worked with at a dealership! Overall, the while has been great. I was involved in a car accident and wanted my Camry to be repaired by Toyota because I thought that the Toyota collision center would be the best place to have my car repaired. My car has been at the collision center since May 4th. At first, the collision center told my insurance company that the repairs would be around $5000. The insurance co. sent them a check the next day. Then, days later, they submitted a supplement claim for another several thousand dollars. The insurance co again, sent a check the next day. On May 20th, I received a voice mail from person who is in charge of my car's repairs saying that there was a lot more damage to the car than they thought- they were going to submit another supplement claim to the insurance company and that I was going to run out of rental car coverage before the car was repaired. I called and left a voice mail message for the person who had left a message for me. I wanted more info as to why it was now being discovered that there was so much more damage. He hasn't returned my calls, or my husband's calls. I would like to get some kind of update as to what the damage is to the car- why it wasnt discovered until after 3 weeks of them having the car and when the car might be repaired. I did indeed run out of rental car coverage because the insurance will only cover 30 days, I returned the car to the rental car place yesterday, June 4th, as my 30 days were up. I think they did okay over all. Although I asked for the old parts well before the repair was finished and they didn?t save them for me. They had been thrown out. I get accidents happen but it felt a little dishonest. The repair left a very mechanical and oily smell in the driver seat. It?s been two days and I can?t get rid of it.

Service is GREAT. Very easy, honest, and pretty fast. Sales was great in the past, only "ok" on my last purchase. On last purchase person selling seemed a bit more interested in making the sale than getting things right for the customer. Very nice and helpful, but could have been more customer centric. Financing felt the same way; more interested in getting the financing than getting things right. Again very nice and ultimately helpful, but could have been more interested in getting things right more quickly. Body shop has historically also been great. Pretty slow this last time but generally they do a good job and attempt to be responsive. COVID might have been the difference this last time.

Was told that I would receive a text when appointment was over, never received that message. Never saw my advisor. Ended up staying in the waiting area an extra hour or so when my car was ready the whole time. Just some advice to check up on your messaging system.

This is the most horrible place ever!! Nothing from sales to service is pleasant. I have yet to meet a single a professional and polite employee. If you make an appointment for 8:45 AM, expect your vehicle around 1 PM or later just for an oil change. The only reason I go is because, unfortunately, I bought the maintenance plan or else I would've happily paid to go ANYWHERE else!

My mom is the one using this vehicle but because she only speaks Spanish it seems like no one is able to help. This happens every time.

This was our 4th visit for routine maintenance. The maintenance consists basically of tire rotation and an oil change and each previous visit took over 4 hours to complete. I have never received a logical answer for the extreme time required to perform such basic work. This time, I (again) informed the service advisor of the problem and told him if we can't be done in under 2 hours, we'll go to another dealer. He said he would try to get the work done quicker . So, the car service was completed in just under 2 hours. This is not stellar performance. I could do this work in my driveway, with a cup of coffee and sub-par tools in an hour. There is still a major flaw with the scheduling/prioritizing/execution/delivery in the service department.

Wanted to get a second opinion on issues with our ABS system. The diagnostics were the same as another mechanic/shop near our home. The only difference was the cost of the repair. $1,000 difference. We went with the other mechanic. We might regret this move but if not, that is a huge savings!

I sent a message to AutoNation that I was interested in a car they had on their lot and I received a call within 15 minutes of sending my message. I spoke with Stephan Vaughn who was absolutely amazing to work with. I live right outside of Houston and 2.5 hours away from the dealership, so he sent me the credit application by email first and after I was approved, he then discussed with his manager what price he could get me for the car and it was a little bit better than I had hoped, so I made arrangements to drive there that day to complete the purchase. Once I got there they did everything they could to get me in and out because they knew I had to drive back home. It was really the best car purchasing experience I have ever had. I received a call the next day from Stephan asking if I had any questions or issues once I had the car home and I just thanked him for everything he did to help me purchase this vehicle. It is absolutely beautiful!! FYI, I purchased the Toyota Highlander XSE in black with the red and black leather interior with the captain chairs in the second row. It was the only combo I wanted and the Autonation in South Austin was the closest place that had it and I am so glad I reached out to them. I highly recommend calling them today if you are looking to purchase a new/used car. Thank you!!

Worst dealership in tx. Zero stars. Bought a brand new truck from them, got it home and it had dents and scratches on it. They drug thier heels just long enough so I couldn't return it. Then they sent the bank my wrong address so my first payment was late. They are very shady and can't follow through with what they say they will do.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! GO ANYWHERE ELSE. The sales team is extremely rude. The person that came to talk to us DENIED to take us to test drive the car that we were thinking about buying. He questioned us if we were serious and if we were actually going to make a purchase. When we asked for his name he literally ran away and refused to respond. I got inside and no one cared about my situation. Absolutely disgusted by this company. Iām also filing a formal complaint with Toyota since we unfortunately have a Toyota RAV4.

I bought a warranty package for 90000 miles when I purchased the vehicle, at the time of purchase I specifically asked and made sure oil change was included, when the time came for using the warranty the first oil change they did not charge me the second oil change at 17k miles they charged me $85. The rep who helped me first told me the warranty was canceled then she said the warranty does not include oil change as it?s only for major maintenance.

I bought my vehicle in the beginning of November 2020 and a week later decided to cancel the add ons I had purchased. I was told this wouldn't be a problem and I would be credited the amount back to my total amount financed. After almost 5 months of back and forth, I still have not seen the money come back and which I am still earning interest on. I keep getting answers that say it should be any day now but this has been going on for months. My last email asking for an update has gone unanswered. I will say that the sales customer service was good and the initial interaction with the finance department was good, but this experience with the financial piece has left a sour taste in my mouth. This was my first time buying a brand new car and it will likely be my last time after this experience.

I took my 2015 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE to AutoNation without an appointment on March 8th at 8:30am. Mickey Hadley is is one of the service managers who quickly responded to my concern that my hood safety latch would not release in order for my hood to open. He immediately had the problem repaired by one of his service personnel. I was impressed with how friendly and understanding Mickey was in resolving my problem.

I didn't know you could submit your credit for a vehicle and get approved just to find out that it sold. I was ignored and disregarded and not one manager tried to help the situation. I guess being a female it makes you invisible to all of the sales associates. I came back in after being told they would right their wrong. Stephan would've made me wait another hour before tending to me. Luckily, Keston Makil came and helped me find what I needed. However, outside of that the rest of it was even more of a [non-permissible content removed] show. I came to the location before 2 and didn't leave until 9:40. Financing was laughing and cutting up even though I waited to COMPLETE the already approved loan for at least 2 1/2 hours. He even acted surprised that I was still there. I was not even given floor mats in a 31,000 truck. I am going on every site to leave the review that they so deserve. Keston was so kind and helpful, but I think he should find a better car dealership to work for.

I took my car in for the required maintenance. I have been assigned a service agent, Tony Do. He met me at the car, gave me the details of the work required, along with the costs. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient. During the multipoint check, he notified me of some additional work recommended with costs giving me the option to have them complete it now or next service. The car went in at 7:00 am, and I was out by 9:30 am. Everyone wore masks, and kept the COVID-19 distances in the waiting room. I was totally satisfied with the service.
